It’s nice to see some guys not afraid to use their resources and go with it in an intent to make some good horror. The new film The Torment of Laurie Ann Cullom is a film set in the 80’s and showcases the don’t be left alone at home thrillers we know and love.
On the night of August 18, 1987, Laurie Ann Cullom was the victim of a brutal rape in the parking lot of the mall where she worked as a hair stylist. The next morning, Laurie was found laying face down on the floorboard of her vehicle, bloody and unconscious.
After the attack, Laurie developed a severe case of Agoraphobia, a fear of open or public spaces. This caused her to suffer from intense panic attacks and forced her to become housebound… until the events of October 13, 1988.
Her fear of the outside world was nothing compared to what she found inside her home.
