The Collective and Bloody Disgusting are releasing the latest and supposed final film of the VHS franchise VHS Viral. For many they are excited for this news and for some not so much. Regardless if you care for the franchise or not they have been entertaining found footage treats that similar to the PA movies have found a home in horror.

The Collective and Bloody Disgusting produce the latest installment of the franchise, which features segments directed by Todd Lincoln, Nacho Vigalondo, Marcel Sarmiento, Gregg Bishop, Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead.

Well the guys over at Screen Daily grabbed some info on the new film and also a nice image that we have here!

V/H/S Viral focuses on fame-obsessed teens who unwittingly become stars of the next internet sensation.

Marcel Sarmimento, TJ Cimfel, Dave White, Gregg Bishop, Nacho Vigalondo, Justin Benson, Aaron Moorehead and Lincoln wrote the screenplay.

Justin Welborn and Emmy Argo are among the cast. Brad Miska and and Gary Binkow serve as producers.

“It’s an honour to bring cutting-edge horror to audiences around the world, and the fact that each film features the work of top genre filmmakers makes this franchise truly exciting,” said EPIC Pictures Group CEO Patrick Ewald. “We’re very proud to continue to be a part of V/H/S Viral.”

“We knew from the moment we saw the first film at Sundance that this sort of filmmaking was something we wanted to be a part of,” said Epic Pictures Group co-founder Shaked Berenson. “It’s a great way to showcase the work of genre masters, which is why the V/H/S franchise resonates with horror fans.”
