  1. Right on : Interesting! Will be looking out for all this great Italian stuff, since I recently also really liked Ivan Zuccon’s bleak, but super frenzy ” Wrath of the Crows”, a very well crafted, and exceptionally altogether well acted movie ! Now, after a process contributed by a quick cinephile’s associations game, I indeed believe it would be very cool of you guys, here on the Blog Site, to have some more information & possibly a review of Domiziano Cristopharo’ s “House of Flesh Mannequins”, which has been by far one of my favorite Cult horror’s, filled with a riot of some of the most definitely retro’s and Euro’s flavors, including also and foremost, those for Giallo, Erotica, S/M, extreme shocking depictions and narrative, outstanding cinematography, and wild and absolutely visionary and raw images, layered with strong but over all passionate array of in depth, and appalling psychological, and, disturbing material, unsolved mysteries, troubled abusive relationships, blackmail, brutal murders committed mostly in cold blood, and, an unseen dose of real strong sexual content, always presented however as more of a personal and stylish, emblematic dilemma, such as the one so typical of Art films, and, so cleverly, often so lingering much less over the exploitative side ( although some may disagree on this last personal feeling), and becoming somewhat more of a key composition in the whole tone and storytelling . In any case, “House of Flesh Mannequins”, that was also distributed here, in the States, by Elite Entertainment, at the end of 2011 (if I so well remember) certainly raised a never ending series of controversies, and discussions, and , later, by also winning a bunch of Awards, in some definitely prestigious Festivals all over the World, has became for me, and I am sure, many others, a true innovative, brave movie, and, mostly the real “Cult” in this sub genre, at least! Thought, despite a few minor flaws, that perverted and truly fascinating morbid motion picture, was at the very end, a real candidate to be the most defining Genre movie of this last decade, or, at least, in the Indie Horror International scene, by far, for sure! So I was a little disappointed when couldn’t find a review of it on here ! Maybe in the future? Just a thought! Thank you, Best Wishes, Alexander .
