Horror Update: Judith O’Dea signed on for ‘Abandoned Dead’

Who doesn’t remember the movie that got most of us horrorphiles started, NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD. “They’re coming to get you, Barbara.” was one of the most classic lines that haunts history forever. Not only is that amazing but Judith O’Dea, the one and only Barbara is signed on to act in ABANDONED DEAD.  Below is an exclusive chance at getting a Judith O’Dea, Barbara action figure from NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD.

Horror indie feature ‘Abandoned Dead’ has signed actress Judith O’Dea for the currently lensing film, now in  production in Los Angeles.
 
The legendary star is best known for her starring role as ‘Barbra’ in George Romero’s original ‘Night of the Living Dead,’  still today considered one of the most influential films of the genre.

‘Abandoned Dead’ is being produced in a joint venture by Pacific World Pictures and Nightwatcher Films, from an original story and screenplay by Director/Producer Mark W. Curran.
 
‘Abandoned Dead’ is the story of a security guard trapped in a run-down inner-city medical clinic, terrorized by supernatural forces which threaten to overtake her.
 
Also set to star in the feature film are Sarah Nicklin (‘Sins of Dracula’) and Robert Wilhelm (‘Transformers 3’).
