‘House of Bad’ star Sadie Katz battles zombies in ‘State of Desolation’

One of the more underrated supernatural thrillers from last year was HOUSE OF BAD. One of the stars of the film Sadie Katz has recently had a run in with our favorite family of hillbilly cannibals in WRONG TURN 6: THE LAST RESORT. Well the stunning former one time episode star of Playboy’s 7 Lives Exposed returns to horror in the zombie romp from Jim Towns, STATE OF DESOLATION. This reunites the two once again and the film has just wrapped up shooting. We have some stills and details from the film after the break. Jim Towns is a very talented director. His work on HOUSE OF BAD was extraordinary. We are very excited to see what he does in the land of the undead and we could not be happier that Sadie is involved. The film just finished shooting in Los Angeles and here are the details thus far:

Actress Sadie Katz will follow up her frightening turn in next month’s Wrong Turn 6 : Last Resort with zombie apocalypse-flick State of Desolation.

The character drama tells of a retired mercenary with a dark past (Craig Stark), who rescues a spoiled young suburbanite (Jamie Bernadette), and must train her to survive in this savage new world.

Written and Directed by Jim Towns (House of Bad), the film also stars Jamie Bernadette (Axeman, Mile Marker 7), Craig Stark (Django Unchained), Dominique Swain (Lolita, Face Off), Kaiwi Lyman (Reel Evil), Daniel Buran (True Blood), Maria Olsen (Paranormal Activity) and Victoria De Mare (Werewolf in a Women’s Prison).

Katz next appears in Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment’s Wrong Turn 6 : Last Resort, released in October.
