‘EC Comics teams up with ‘Fright-Rags’ for limited edition tees

One of the pioneers of early sci fi and horror comics is the company EC Comics. Responsible for classic titles such as THE HAUNT OF FEAR and TALES FROM THE CRYPT EC Comics has a long standing history with the horror and pop culture world. Well it was announced today that they are teaming up with Fright-Rags for some awesome limited edition t-shirts. The shirts look great so read on to see the designs yourself and how you can pre order these limited edition shirts.

EC Comics was responsible for many of the best horror, sci-fi and crime comic books of the ’40s and ’50s, including Tales from the Crypt, The Vault of Horror, The Haunt of Fear, Weird Science and Crime SuspenStories. Now celebrating its 70th anniversary, the influential company is teaming with Fright-Rags for a line of limited edition apparel.

Fright-Rags has created shirts out of three classic EC cover artworks: Jack Davis’ Tales from the Crypt #37, Al Feldstein’s Tales from the Crypt #24 and Johnny Craig’s Crime SuspenStories #22. Each full-color design is limited to 250 and available on T-shirts, girls shirts and zip-up hoodies.

For the serious fan, Fright-Rags offers a limited edition box set. It collects all three shirts, along with an exclusive EC Comics logo baseball tee, a fan-addict patch and a fan-addict certificate, all packaged in a collector’s box. Only 200 box sets are available.

These items are up for pre-order from Due to the limited nature of the products, they may sell out during the pre-order period. Orders are expected to ship in early November.

The EC designs follow Fright-Rags’ recent Tales from the Crypt apparel, which is in stock while supplies last. The company also released new shirts inspired by Twin Peaks, Salem’s Lot, Witchboard and many more.
