Get on the road with a few ‘Crazy Bitches’

Hey guys just wanted to give you a heads up that one of our favorite movies of 2014 CRAZY BITCHES is continuing their festival run and could use your help. This is not your normal campaign as you all know the film is finished and has a had a successful premiere in LA. Well with heavy demand to see these bitches they are looking to hit a few more cities and need us to help them get there. Some of the unique experiences that will come from the trip will be daily journals and blogs on selected horror sites, a documentary made on the journey and of course a chance to meet filmmaker Jane Clark, along with fellow actresses, producers and filmmakers Guinevere Turner and Cathy Debuono. There is all kinds of CRAZY BITCH schwag for you to receive for helping out and here is a little from the Indiegogo page: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/the-crazy-bitches-bitchin-bus-tour

The whole CRAZY BITCHES cast and crew are deeply grateful for the contributions to production that got us through when we most needed it. Well we finished the Bitch and She’s ready for the world. But the world doesn’t know it yet. And that’s where we need help…again. This Bitch needs some marketing. We know the audience is out there who will totally dig this film! We just have to find them and let them know we’re here for them! The video below is audience reactions from our insanely fun screening at the gorgeous Ford Amphitheater back in July.

We realize donating to a marketing campaign is not as sexy as donating to a production. The importance of this last step, however, can not be stressed enough. If we do the work to find our audience, it not only helps all the talent in front of and behind the camera to get the next job, it also lays the ground work to get financing for CRAZY BITCHES: EVEN CRAZIER and (if we can be so lucky) CRAZY BITCHES: THE CRAZIEST.  If you believe in shooting for the stars, if you want to support women on film and behind film and help them succeed, and if you just want to treat yourself to something Crazy and Bitchy from the perks list (much of which is unique to this campaign), that’s all good too. Please donate.

Our Grand Scheme is a DIY Crazy Bitches Bitchin’ Bus Tour to market the film in local and national press. A 5 cities/5 screening event over 5 days with cast and director in tow. We’ll arrive in Atlanta for our first screening, Q&A and party, then hop on a bus wrapped with CRAZY BITCHES on the outside and drive city to city up the coast – NC, DC, NYC and Boston. A DIY story – thinking outside the box. We have plans to embed a journalist, write a daily director’s diary about the trip for an outlet like EW, shoot 10 minute web pieces for Tello films with Cathy DeBuono and Guinevere Turner, a Guinevere Turner daily blog for a horror site, and a bunch of other potential press pieces. We’ll hire a media manager and a publicist to help us on the journey. And the publicity would start January 1st and hopefully continue through the end of February.

We have been lucky to find two wonderful women who have donated their RV, time and RV driving skills, which will knock a nice bit off the cost of the driving costs.

Head over to the page to see how it all breaks down and where the costs go. This is a great opportunity to see CRAZY BITCHES in all of it’s essence before it gets picked up by a distributor (and we know for a fact this will happen!) If you are in the KC area don’t forget CRAZY BITCHES screens this upcoming Monday January 5th at the Screenland Armour North Kansas City, Missouri as part of the Slaughter Movie House, which is a series put on by our good friend and filmmaker Jill Sixx. Look for future announcements on CRAZY BITCHES right here on HMU!
