Tits, blood and a a bunch of pale white dudes it all leads to ‘Muck’ – movie review

Last Friday on March the 13th limited theaters and VOD HOUSED the bloody slasher MUCK before it hit home. Now out on Blu ray and DVD many folks are getting a chance to see one of the more entertaining films of 2014. As a child of the eighties MUCK gives a “throwback” feel like no other with a huge display of breasts, ass and um pitchforks? Plain and simple if you don’t like MUCK there is something wrong with you. Filled with kills, spills, thrills and all the fixings when you look up American slasher from this period MUCK will be on the list.

In the flick we find a group who has ventured out for a night of fun and ended up in hell. There are these pale white “creepers” chasing after them with no rhyme or reason. One of the many reasons why MUCK works for all horror fans is because they place you in the film at a moment of despair. So you have no time to invest on how or why they are there, it’s just tits in your face and axes coming from your throat. The creatures all have something to do with this marsh in the area (hence the name MUCK) but this way may be their only escape. Truly fun with an appeal that’s perfect for this generation’s horror fan MUCK kicks some creeper ass!

With an upcoming sequel in the works many things will be expected from the MUCK franchise. The attention to detail by using stop motion styled filming on some of the more stellar parts will make life long fans for Steve Wolsh. Films like this always put a smile on my face because it is really a fan film. Comedy and gore go hand in hand and MUCK has almost as much of that as they do the C and D cups. Some horror films don’t need to  make you think they need to make you react. By all means MUCK is not scary it’s just a great popcorn burner. I’m sure most will miss the boat and over think it and I feel sorry for them. MUCK is a shit ton of fun and has the ability to be enjoyed over and over, like really aren’t you curious where the hell them pale ass dudes come from? I know I am!

  1. uhm, bought review for the win?
That “film” is hands down one of the worst horror movies in the last years.
Not shoking, no tension, just a LOT of naked flesh that makes NO sence at all.

    Avoid at all cost
