Matthew Lillard and Robert Englund head to TFW 2016

One man synonymous with horror is the iconic Robert Englund. Last week as part of their month long announcements heading into Halloween, news broke that both he and Matthew Lillard are heading to TEXAS FRIGHTMARE WEEKEND 2016. Englund has been at TFW before and many are awaiting his triumphant return. Know for his role in SCREAM and of course Shaggy in the Scooby Doo films Lillard has been a fan favorite for sometime and a very requested celebrity for conventions. Grab your tickets for TFW 2016 now so you can meet both of these great guests.


Besides being the new voice of Shaggy in the Scooby-Doo cartoons and both live action films, Lillard’s high profile list of films include the slasher classic SCREAM, SLC Punk!, Thirteen Ghosts, Wicker Park, She’s All That, Serial Mom, Hackers and more.

Since 1973, Robert Englund has appeared in over 75 feature films and starred in four TV series. He has starred alongside Oscar-winners Henry Fonda, Susan Sarandon and Jeff Bridges. Since 1984 he’s achieved international fame as the iconic boogeyman Freddy Krueger in the hit franchise A Nightmare on Elm Street and its seven sequels. Englund has guest starred in hundreds of hours of TV most recently Bones, Criminal Minds and Hawaii 5-0. He can also be seen starring in the horror film Fear Clinic, and the English thriller The Last Showing, he can be heard as the voice of the Evil Beaver in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon show.

Also joining Englund will be Nightmare on Elm Street alums Ronee Blakley, Amanda Wyss and Penelope Sudrow.
