‘The Hoarder’ on DVD next month



Well it’s the return of the lovely Mischa Barton to the HMU fold as news broke this week on her latest film. Headed to DVD next month is the Matt Winn survival thriller THE HOARDER. If your thoughts immediately go to the idea of THE COLLECTOR then you aren’t too far off. In this film the killer isn’t preying on our victims they accidentally stumble upon him! RLJ Entertainment brings you the THE HOARDER.  Directed by Matt Winn (January 2nd), the film stars Mischa Barton (“The O.C.”), Robert Knepper (“Prison Break”), Andrew Buckley (“The Extras”), Charlotte Salt (“The Tudors”), Emily Atack (“Tracey Ullman’s Show”), John Sackville (“Doctor Who: The Companion Chronicles”), and Valene Kane (“The Fall”).  THE HOARDER is available on Digital Video and on DVD for an SRP of $27.97 on Apr. 5, 2016.

Ella (Barton) sneaks off one night to snoop through her fiancé’s storage unit on the seedy outskirts of town. But deep in the lower levels of the warehouse, Ella and a half dozen storage unit customers discover there’s more than old furniture and memorabilia being locked away here. A relentless psychopath has started his own “collection,” and unless Ella and the others can survive the blood-soaked rampage of the Hoarder, and find a way out of the maze-like building, they’ll never see the light of another day.

The DVD also includes the special feature “Making of THE HOARDER.”
