So it’s been a long time coming and we want to sincerely apologize to the people behind the scenes but there is a nifty little horror flick you all should know about. It’s called KILD TV and the crew has been giving us the goods on the film since October. Well we are finally able to drop some much overdue info on the movie as they have just released a trailer earlier this month. KILD TV follows a crew of a late night horror show that starts getting picked off one by one by an unknown assailant. The film heads our way from the mind of Michael Muscal and should be released very soon. Check out the full details on the feature including the updated trailer and look for current news on KILD TV soon!
Effects Guru and Horror Film Producer Michael Muscal is at it again. From the man responsible for such classics as Re-Animator, Bride of Chucky and Ted Bundy now comes KILD TV.
Starring DC “Sharknado 2” Douglas, KILD TV is a bloody murder mystery that takes place at a remote TV station where crew members, broadcasting the Late Night Horror Show, start dropping like flies, violently disposed of by a psychopath out to erase all clues to his identity. They must broadcast for help — or die !
Film is now competed and set for an early 2016 release.
Muscal is quick to point out that genre fans will not be disappointed. “The body count is quite high!” Not bad coming from the guy who gave us serial killer classic ED GEIN, winner of a prestigious Best Picture award at the renowned genre fest, Sitges.
And to accomplish the hard core ghoulish mayhem, the producers brought in Hawgfly Productions (Temple Grandin, Grindhouse and Machete) to do the special make up effects.
A TV journalist cracks a series of unsolved killings and prepares an expose for broadcast, all the while keeping secret that the twisted killer works at his own station. As he covertly prepares, a skeleton crew begins to air their live, late-night horror show, featuring a ghoulish host named Dr. Perseco.
Unbeknownst to all, one crew member has already been viciously murdered and her body hidden. A violent thunderstorm rolls in as two more of the crew and the journalist disappear.
The TV show continues until the mutilated body of one of the missing is discovered. The crew frantically tries to flee the building, only to find all lines of escape and communication sabotaged.
Lightning strikes, leaving only emergency power, and one hope for rescue; they must broadcast or die. They plea for help on the air but, the plan fails when viewers believe it’s just a hoax. More brutally slain bodies turn up and the pressure mounts to find the killer before another is found slaughtered.
As the mystery unravels, it becomes clear that the killer is one of them. Friends and colleagues begin distrusting each other, and, with every step inching closer to discovering who it is, another body falls.
