Cati Gonzalez EKAJ
A modern “Midnight Cowboy,” filtered through a raw “Kids” lens, and a love story between a naive teenager and a street hustler, “Ekaj” captures a runaway’s journey to New York City. Ekaj meets Mecca, who takes him under his care, as they cruise the city together looking for money and places to stay. Although he makes some money as a prostitute, Ekaj finds he is lacking what it takes to survive in the city.
LITTLE ANGEL (AGELITA)
When the unspeakable death of a child occurs in the Lower East Side of New York, an entire city searches for answers. An answer that brings a chill up the spine of anyone strong enough to ask the question. Who killed Little Angel?
Michael Van Devere RETROSPECTIVE
NewFilmmakers presents a retrospective of the work of Michael Van Devere, including select scenes and shorts that span ten years of filmmaking.
Passes for Screenings are only $7 and are good for the whole night and go on sale at 5:30PM the night of performance at the Anthology Box Office. There is no advanced or online sales.
