One final push for sci fi show ‘Blade of Honor’

The BATTLESTAR GALACTICA styled sci fi show BLADE OF HONOR is in the final stages of their latest kickstarter. While they have funded the first episode they hope this push will help get them three more which will bring the show to life. It’s an intriguing battle between humans and an animal race and the show will for sure appeal to the purest of sci fi fans. Help them get there with a little over a week left and check out the incentives. Take a glance at some new photos from the show and we will see if BLADE OF HONOR can follow the same great footsteps of the shows it resembles.

One episode of TV’s upcoming science-fiction series BLADE OF HONOR, starring Richard Hatch and Tim Russ, has been funded – thanks to a Kickstarter campaign! – but in order to have more than that, enough for a limited series, the producers need extra financing. With that in mind, the Kickstarter has remained opened so that BLADE OF HONOR can try and reach $84,000 (enough to cover 3 episodes!).

To help entice punters, the campaign has introduced an exciting perk into its roster of incentives : an Official Battlestar Galactica colonial Warrior Jacket, Autographed by Richard Hatch!

That’s right, APOLLO himself will autograph official replica jackets like the one he wore in the original Battlestar Galactica series. That reward is added to some set visit and producer credit donation levels. You’ll get to visit the set, watch Mr. Hatch work, get the official BSG jacket, and get his autograph. A must have for the hardcore BSG and sci-fi fan.

TV icons Richard Hatch (Battlestar Galactica), Tim Russ (Star Trek : Voyager) and James Kyson (Heroes) star in the upcoming series.  Behind-the-scenes crew on the show consists of forces  behind such science-fiction classics as Battlestar Galactica, Heroes, Star Trek:Voyager, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: New Voyages, Star Trek: Renegades, and Star Trek: The Next Generation!

Alison Haislip, Cirroc Lofton, Aron Eisenberg and Brandon Stacy also star in the Mark Edward Lewis written-produced production.

Blade of Honor  fixes on Arina Kartades (Haislip), a religious, headstrong, crack Alliance Navy Star Blade pilot in a war where the human Alliance is losing against the animal race, the Calinar. When Kartades discovers that her Statemandated religious upbringing was a lie, she embarks upon a forced quest to discover the true reasons behind the war. As her discoveries push her deeper into harm’s way, she must go against everything she believes in to fight a cloak and dagger rebellion and expose the galactic elite, the religious masters, and protect the ones she loves from the clutches of her own superiors and the combined military might of the Alliance and Calinar.
