We all want to know the answers to the afterlife. Where do we go when we pass?Is there a heaven? Is there a hell? Maybe the most important question for horror fans deals with ghosts. No matter if they are poltergeist, lost souls or just your run of the mill malevolent spirits, there are more than enough claims across the globe to consider we are not alone. In the new feature from Jesse Holland and Andy Mitton WE GO ON, one man looks to solve these inquires. Miles Grissom (Clark Freeman) is a man who many would pass by everyday with no thought or recollection. Teamed along with his controlling and unruly mother (Annette O’Toole) he opens a door to another world that should remain closed.

Tons of funny moments and a few jumps are what’s in store in WE GO ON. The best part about the film is how realistic the situations are in regards to his search for the afterlife. Anytime you go on a journey of this measure the freaks come to the forefront. Add in some money and the list expands more and more. If you ever want to place an awesome prank on a friend put in a craigslist ad looking to pay people for proof of ghosts and sit back and watch the fireworks. With all the humor aside the film measures up with most supernatural films worth the watch. There are countless titles that will remind you of WE GO ON which has the fun of a film like HOUSEBOUND mixed in with the ghast of a feature like WE ARE STILL HERE. It takes a second to get into the deeper portions of this film but solid enough to make the build up respectable.

WE GO ON is a lot of fun and doesn’t take itself too seriously. The characters are engaging enough and the dynamic between O’Toole and Freeman are on par with any overbearing mother son combination. WE GO ON is a strong and entertaining entry into the supernatural genre so give it a view when you can.

3.5 / 5

WE GO ON is now available on Blu ray and DVD and currently streaming exclusively on Shudder. It is directed by Andy Mitton & Jesse Holland and stars Annette O’Toole, Clark Freeman, John Glover, Giovanna Zacarías, Jay Dunn, and Laura Heisler.
