‘Day of The Dead: Bloodline’ hits theaters early next year

Today the official release date has been announced for the zombie flick from Hèctor Hernández Vicens DAY OF THE DEAD: BLOODLINE. What is being deemed as a reimagining of the Romero classic the film follows a med student on the run from the half undead. Take a glance at the teaser poster for the feature ahead and look for DAY OF THE DEAD: BLOODLINE in theaters on January 5th courtesy of Saban Films.

A reimagining of George A. Romero’s cult classic, DAY OF THE DEAD: BLOODLINE is set in a post-apocalyptic, zombie-filled world where a former med school student is tormented by a dark figure from her past. The only thing is, he’s a half-human, half-zombie hell-bent on destroying her world.

DAY OF THE DEAD: BLOODLINE is directed by  Hèctor Hernández Vicens written by Mark Tonderai & Lars Jacobson based on the motion picture “Day of the Dead” by George A. Romero. It stars Johnathon Schaech, Sophie Skelton, Marcus Vanco and Jeff Gum.
