Horror Movie Reviews

I need a hero ‘Zombiology: Enjoy Yourself Tonight’ – movie review

Horror and zombies will forever weave a spiral dance between the indie and larger budget worlds with few great compromises in between. Alan Lo’s ZOMBIOLOGY: ENJOY YOURSELF TONIGHT walks that fine line between greatness and what the f**k am I watching. It leads to possibly one of the most entertaining features of 2018 with the perfect blend of asian horror wit mixed in with gore, guts and mayhem one would expect of a zombie film. ZEYT will have viewers howling with laughter and begging for more zombies until the end!

What really helps ZEYT stand apart from other features is the unhinged nonsense that is just passed off as fodder. The characters are all likeable as they truly represent a fanboy mentality and provide the answer to what you would do in their predicament. Even still this is China and similar to a zombie film about a train in South Korea that made a lot of noise the undead is everywhere. So let’s just say the survival rate isn’t too high in the feature but we don’t think the viewers will be let down by any scenes. Then we get to the awesomeness. Say you take a super well known bit from FAMILY GUY and mix it in with Asian horror culture and you can imagine what our favorite part of the film was. Really there wasn’t one moment we didn’t enjoy in ZEYT and applauded the return to horror film making with edge. It has been a while since we’ve seen a horror film of this caliber and we think fans everywhere will feel the same.

As we have mentioned limitless times zombie flicks will never die. The past two years have more than affirmed this notion. So we are ecstatic to see the chinese cultured duly represented with ZEYT and can wait to see what the rest of the year holds. Make sure you give some love to ZOMBIOLOGY: ENJOY YOURSELF TONIGHT because you won’t be disappointed.
